Consider the Firefly
I first posted this in 2012. Recently, thinking about the gross darkness that is covering the earth and its inhabitants, I was reminded of this post. So much is happening in our world these days. We are truly living in the last days, without a doubt. Christians must be the light- to shine the light of Jesus Christ into the darkness. We are to be part of the Light and not of the darkness. We must decrease so that Christ will increase in and through us. We must seek Him with our whole heart, mind and spirit. We must want, desire Him more than our next meal, our next pleasure, our next breath. When we become so hungry and thirsty for Him, more than life itself- He will manifest His presence to us and through us. His light will shine out of us. People wont' see us, but they will see, feel and experience the Presence of Jesus Christ. Be that Light to someone in darkness.
