The Voice of the Turtledove

Recently, while in n prayer ,the Lord lead me to these verses. Song of Solomon 2:11-13.

Solomon 2: 11-13 (TPT) "The season has changed, the bondage of your barren winter has ended, and the season of hiding is over and gone. The rains have soaked the earth and left it bright with blossoming flowers. The season for singing and pruning the vines has arrived. I hear the cooing of doves in our land, filling the air with songs to awaken you and guide you forth. Can you not discern this new day of destiny breaking forth around you? The early signs of my purposes and plans are bursting forth."

It's been a rough winter physically for my husband and myself. Also for some in our family and Church. But while in prayer, I sensed the Lord saying that the winter is past, a new season has come. We must be open to the voice of the turtledove- our Beloved is calling us into a deeper place of worship, our relationship with Him and a greater sense of our purpose in His plan. The hindrances, burdens and chains of the past season are being broken and we are being released into a new season with Him. We must stay focused and tuned in to what Holy Spirit is saying this day. He desires to change our winter into spring- a new season has arrived. He will resurrect what seemed dead, blow on it with His Holy breath- and give our hopes, desires and callings new life. Our destiny and purpose will become more clear.

It makes no difference what we have gone through- God always turns our trials into testimonies. What we learned in the dark times, He will bring to light to bless others. What we learned during our trials, if we allow Him, He will turn them into testimonies that will enrich and encourage others. Most important, it will aid to advancing His Kingdom on this earth and in our lives.

We all have the same number of hours in our days. MAKE the time to spend some quality time with the Lord. Meditate on His Word and His character. Pray and seek Him for revelation and insight. Ask Him to illuminate those dark corners of your life. Ask Him to recharge you- as you spend time with Him. As batteries need to be recharged- our spirits need recharging from time to time. It may have been a rough winter for you as well, but just as spring is budding forth all around us- so will the Spirit begin to bloom, bringing new perspective, sweet fragrance to our trials and resurrection life to what we thought was barren and dead.

Be encouraged and make time to listen to the One who knows what He is doing.

Those who have ears to hear- hear what Holy Spirit is saying.
