Have You Left Your Baggage Behind?

Image
"Then David left the baggage in the care of the baggage keeper and ran to the battle line."  1 Samuel 17:22 (NASB)   Last year my husband and I went on a cruise. We had to fly to Miami. I was constantly checking my app for the airline to make sure that our luggage was going with us. All went well going down.  But on our return flights- when we were leaving the Atlanta airport, I kept checking the app to see where our luggage was. It kept showing that it was still back in Miami. Of course, I am panicking, but my calm, reassuring husband kept telling me it would be okay. (He wasn't checking the app-and he always says everything will be okay. Stick to the path of truth,  and the road will be safe and smooth before you.” (TPT )      “(looking away from all that will distract us and) focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith…”   Hebrews 12a (AMP)       I recently posted about my issues with vertigo and feeling off balance (Stop-Pause-Reset- 7/26/2025). I came across another scriptural parallel while doing a couple more tests intending to make me dizzy so they could determined further issues. After the test, I was instructed to focus on a little red light- and the dizziness stopped. it would seem that when I become dizzy, if I can focus on an object (that is not moving) - the dizziness goes away. It also helps to strengthen the inner ear canal (which is where the problem is)...
